Boudoir is the French word for "ladies bedroom" and in photography refers to intimate and private photos, i.e. "for his eyes only." Boudoir Photographs are a popular gift for Valentine's Day, birthdays, wedding nights, anniversaries and frequently booked by military couples or other people involved in long distance relationships.
Boudoir Photography covers a range of styles from glamorous and colorful to artistic black & whites, from sexy and seductive to playful and flirty; and can include nudes, implied nudes, partially clothed and lingerie or swimwear (additional samples from these categories are also in the Models gallery).
Poses, wardrobe and style can be chosen by you, the customer. Zymage doesn't limit you to "cookie-cutter" sessions that look just like every other client. Your images will be completely unique and tailored to your tastes and preferences... and his. Many clients borrow clothes or props from their significant other such as a jersey of his favorite team, neck tie, golf club, etc. Props and costumes pieces are also available in the studio.
Zymage Studio in Louisville provides private boudoir photography sessions in the studio, customer's home or on location. Many photographers choose not to shoot nudes. While full nudity is not pictured on this website, the service is offered. The photos in this gallery are posted with the permission of the person pictured, but the great majority of boudoir sessions are completely private. Sometimes the original image files (digital negatives) are even deleted after the prints are developed for absolute privacy.
Products can range from small prints in an album, to large prints to hard cover books. Every package is customized to the client's preferences and budget.
