Rates are listed below (along with an application form just for models at the bottom).

PORTRAITS: MODEL PORTFOLIOS, BOUDOIR SESSIONS and SENIOR PICTURES:

My base rate is $90 per session. A session refers to an outfit, setting and lighting change. Most sessions last between 30 minutes and an hour & half; and yield 50 - 150 original images. All poses including headshots, from the waist up, top half of body, head to toe standing; and sometimes even lying down and seated are usually done in one session.

Often a model will choose to have a different hair style and make up for each session as well. Make-up artists/hair stylists are available whose rates average $20-$70 per look depending on the stylist. Zymage uses only licensed professionals. You are free to do your own hair and make up or bring your own stylist.

In the image below, the same model has not only a different outfit in each photo, but different hair and make up; and of course different lighting and backgrounds.



PRODUCT:

The session fee is for time, equipment & studio rental. Within 1-24 hours after the shoot, you will receive a CD of lo-res watermarked proofs from which to choose your favorites for printing or to have in full size resolution electronic files. Up to three (3) full size electronic files with basic retouching are free with each session. Print rates are at the bottom of this page.

A CD or DVD of more than three photos per session can be sold for $50 - $200 depending on quantity. This will allow you to share the copyrights for printing and distribution. But please note that retail and drug stores use toner and ink printers, not chemically developed photo paper in a color lab operated by educated professionals; and we have no control over the quality of the print.

FAMILY PORTRAITS:

Family and Infant portraits are less time consuming than posed individuals since usually just a few poses are captured. Therefore the rate is just $45 per session and yields 20-40 original images.

My studio equipment (lights, backdrops) are completely portable. For large families and/or shoots outside of my studio (family home, yard, exotic location, etc), there is a $100 transport/set-up fee.

WEDDINGS

EVENTS, PARTIES & CONCERTS:

PARTY PICS: Camera with hot-shoe flash roaming the crowd taking photos of people having fun and posing with smiles. This requires no set-up. RATE: $200.

RIGGED STUDIO LIGHTS: Presetting strobes (flashing photography lights) either on stands or rigged in the ceiling. This requires that I set up before a crowd arrives and break down after the event is over. RATE: $350.

PHOTO STUDIO: Using backdrops, lights, soft box; AND computer equipment to display and sell the photos on site. This set up requires a second person. RATE: $600.

I am available to travel worldwide if transportation and lodging are included. Additional fees for equipment transport will be applied.

TRADE SHOWS:

Cost is dependent on venue's charge for house lighting and access. To shoot booth set up while the floor is open, rate is $50 per angle/position. Most trade show booths are visible from all four sides.

SPORTS:

$100 per game/event (assume two hours). All day meets: $300. Hundreds of original images are shot, but of course just a handful of great ones where you can see the athlete's face, number and ball/equipment tend to come out.

RETOUCHING/EDITING

By using the correct settings on the camera and studio lighting, most of the original images are "print ready." I pride myself in "getting it right the first time" as opposed to many digital photographers whose expertise is more so in manipulating images in photoshop on a computer rather than proficiency with a camera and studio equipment. However, there are always things that can be retouched depending on a client's needs. The average cost for retouching is $10 per subject for simple editing and $50 for detailed graphic work. This cost can vary depending on a client's needs.

PRINTS:

Printing is done in a professional color lab with chemical photo processing, NOT ink jets or toner printing. Discounted pricing is available for large quantities.
